Interior carpenter ant colonies are often satellite colonies of a much larger primary nest, which may be located within roughly 300 feet of the structure, and in many cases there can be as many as 50 satellite colonies in the surrounding area. For this reason, our trained technicians carefully inspect and treat key nesting and foraging sites such as trees, stumps, landscaping timbers, stored firewood, and other conducive areas around the property. By extending treatment beyond the structure and directly to these primary sources, we interrupt colony activity, stop foraging ants from entering the home or business, and work toward complete colony elimination.
